Shardana Wine & Sea

In the heart of Marina di Loano, a wine bar and restaurant where the sea meets wine, cuisine, and the joy of dining.

About Us

A name that comes from the sea. A place made for living life to the fullest.

Shardana takes its name from one of the Sea Peoples. And that’s where its dining philosophy begins: with the sea, its flavors, and the pleasure of sharing a good meal and a glass of fine wine.

In 2016, in the heart of Marina di Loano, Shardana Wine & Sea opened its doors: a wine bar and restaurant where Ligurian tradition meets a vibrant, authentic, and generous cuisine.

Here, the region speaks for itself without beating around the bush: oysters, raw seafood, dishes featuring both seafood and meat, dry-aged meats, pizzas, and carefully selected wines. Everything is chosen with the same philosophy in mind: quality, attention to detail, and a passion for doing things right.

The team

A dedicated team that is accustomed to working with care.

The Location

In the heart of Marina di Loano.

Shardana is located in Marina di Loano, nestled between the harbor, the sea, and that kind of atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and relax without worrying too much about the time. It’s a place to enjoy at a leisurely pace: for lunch, dinner, a glass of wine, a platter of oysters, a pizza, aged meat, or an entire evening. Inside, a vibrant kitchen. Outside, the sea just a few steps away.

The Kitchen

Sea, land, grill. And there’s always something new to try.

Shardana’s cuisine draws on Ligurian and Italian traditions, but it doesn’t stop there.
The menu changes frequently, depending on the season, availability, and inspiration. The pasta is homemade, the ingredients are carefully selected, and the dishes are designed to be recognizable yet never predictable.

The Wine Cellar

Every dish needs its own wine.

At Shardana, wine is part of the experience. The wine cellar features carefully selected bottles, producers waiting to be discovered, and wines designed to complement your meal.

We seek out wines that pair well with food, tell a story, and enhance every tasting experience. That’s one of the reasons we organize special evenings, tastings, and meetings with sommeliers: opportunities designed to help you discover new pairings, niche producers, and unique flavor journeys.
